Dragons and I have played many games together. His track record for reading me is almost perfectly wrong across the board. He is aware I have an overwhelmingly negative view of his play and style, even though I tolerate it.

My post was olive branch charity. There are two good reasons for him specifically to vote me that way with zero substance: annoy me and see what happens, and to see how others react. (Prism, gob) - I have my doubts about prism but i figure don't need to elim prism to win, just teammates so its kind of like w/e
{andres, imaginality, t3} - i cant help but feel imaginality is a bad elim even though some of my townreads want it. But personally my read is null and andres short bursts and push on ydrasse just seems like was trying to make himself appear hunting.
{snivy} - all reads and takes from snivy have been extremely bad. does that equal scum? No, but like theres only so much bad analysis or lack of that i go either scum or is just trying to help the scum and shade all my townreads.

I don't think this is at all similar to a shirou scum. shirou has a lot of confidence in his reads when he thinks he is onto something. Especially as town, if anything feigning to be grounded or being what i would call ~reasonable~ is a scum tell for shirou. (don't tell him he might start death tunneling harder as scum now). shirou is loud, performative, hyperactive and a tunneler.

shirou can lose confidence himself in games but usually as town he is very confident in the beginning to middle of game until he starts getting paranoid which will get progressively worse depending on how town is performing. And again, I don't think scum shirou is as good at replicating this.

But I do think some of us need to better articulate why it is that we’re willing to accept a death tunnel of Town in a game where that player, if Scum, can then escape, only because that behavior conforms with their “Town meta”. Theres a general problem whenever Titus uses the argument of wagons and vote history as an argument of someone alignment.
That general problem is, It can argued both ways as any alignment, ever.
Theres no straightforward consistency in applying it and saying "Ohh Titus believes this because this is how Titus town views the game" because she can easily put forward the argument as scum to say what she wants when she wants to say it and she has crafted these VCA arguments before as scum. Theres nothing clear in those to say this is town or scum titus line of thinking its like extremely null.

So when you say things like "this makes sense as a titus thought" I go "yeah thats not useful at all for determining if that analysis is townie because she could have that thought as scum so easily its not worth talking about"

Like the imaginality vote was bad because when and how it was done. to be honest i am still null on imaganlity and should really hold a view there, but I can cite you at least one former game i played with imaganlity and I can tell u, I tunneled him there because i felt like it was an easy push to get away with as scum and I was right there.

Does that make him town here, obviously not. I am just saying I can see any scum easily pushing imaginality because ive done that shit.

I'm not a big fan of the genre in general, but it can be fun. Eminence's appeal comes from the unique trope subversion MC, but it gets mostly forgotten by the time of the second arc and only gets nominal recognition afterwards. In contrast to something like SAO or Re:Zero, the world and characters are not even vaguely interesting, and those failures becomes glaring when its single trump card is spent and discarded.

Perhaps if I went rooting around the sewage plant I'd appreciate the contents of the Wendy's dumpster more fully, but there are limits.

Do you not like the show Overlord either?
Its basically like Overlord with all power MC that has a devoted following of people who think they are infallible with us the audience knowing they aren't. The big difference is that Cid thinks its just a role playing game his friends are all in on and Ainz constantly panicking at being found out as a fraud and having the people around him betray him or think less of him.
