I haven't read a lot of the game but I've read a little since it's Undertale

Where should I start?

Just because of prior experience reading Undertale games I'm going to assume that the Miller claim is secretly a VT, but either way probably a villager (first part is a joke, but early miller claims are >rand town. when I fakeclaimed miller as scum once I was really hedgy about it early, then didn't fully claim until D2. I'm aware that my meta isn't the same as others, but /shrug)

I feel like I have a happy stash of town leans. Sky and RWBY do not fall within this group.

Who are your town leans at the moment?

I felt confident in Papyrus town, Wisp a close second, and then Dan and GoT were all townleans. I got a good vibe from RC as well. Brown Eyes I wanted to believe was town because I related to her read-through!

As for scumreads, I had a gut feeling on Sky from her entrance. She had one one thing that I liked, which was post 70, where she reacted in a pretty natural way to what she felt was town voting her, but she also feels experienced enough to fab that, so I wanted to add to her wagon to see what she'd feel. The RWBY early claim felt organic, though since I assume the hydra had time to discuss what their approach would be so I'm trying to not use that towards my read on them. Their proclamation of Wiisp as town felt too matter-of-fact in 69 to me.

On my reread o the first pages what initially drew me to Dan town didn't ::do:: it for me again, while the RWBY callout on Wisp felt okay to me since I personally call leans "town" sometimes.

General comment @ Brown Eyes I would prefer if you waited until after Sky responds to pressure before you voice defense like you did in 139, pressure is better when the pressured doesn't feel like they have friends in town.

I like Yang RWBY 141 suspicion on Wisp. I noticed the fencesitting when he originally posted it too but it felt like something the Wisp I've been introduced to would post either way. I like Wisp's response to this as well.

I get and agree where nom 201 is coming from when discussing Lightning's involvement but this post pings my gut a little with the tone of the accusation. I want to go back to this after and see how I feel about this after I see what else nom's posted.

i don't think it would make sense for RC to give scum a godfather ability if the mercy is low considering mercy seems to be a mechanic to reduce swing:

Illogical nature of that aside, it has a deeper flaw, which is that saying "don't do X, it's scummy" is probably based on a misunderstanding of what "scummy" is... because if it's not, then you're explicitly asking someone to make themself harder to read, which is mystifying.

Mystifying means confusing. What confuses me is why you would ask someone not to do something scummy, when them doing something scummy would help you read them better.

For the record, scumminess is technically not subjective. (And certainly it's not the case that EVERYTHING is subjective.) Every behavior is either scum indicative or it isn't, and what we form are not opinions but beliefs about what is and isn't scummy. It's possible for a belief to be objectively wrong. I don't really think you're right about tryharding being more likely scum; I believe it's player dependent. I'd guess that the trolling players you've seen were mostly town because most players are town and you remember them more. There's no way that more than 50% of the players you've seen being super serious were scum, the math just doesn't check out.

By the way, this is a really scummy series of posts and further solidifies a scumread there. Why are we at 50 pages? Are we gonna lynch scum or what?

You're doing two things I expect from scum!Nancy:
1. You're interacting a lot with the rest of the playerlist but you're not giving actual reads. You're not scumhunting, just talking with the more active players. For instance, you weren't voting anyone until recently.
2. You've stated at least three times that you're not content with the biggest wagon; I can't remember all the times that happened, but the most notable for me was about GoT. You said something like "I'm not really sure GoT will flip scum here, I don't want to vote them", and then subtly changing to "I would only vote to avoid a no lynch", then again a subtle change when roster's wagon formed to a "I don't think either GoT or roster are scum but I'd rather vote GoT instead of roster", or something along those lines. This kind of behavior is not only really scummy, but incredibly out of your town range, where you usually have a much more intense opinion on relevant matters.

So when Blake said they had a theory, she said it right after I realized this behavior, so I thought she saw what I saw and I said "maybe you're thinking what I'm thinking". If I'm right, that makes GoT more likely to be town than scum, so I derailed the wagon to roster. Your behavior continued and even got somewhat confirmed with how you reacted to the change of wagon; you didn't want to vote GoT, but when the wagon derailed, you didn't want to lose the chance of mislynching GoT.

That's where I'm at right now.

2. By changing my vote accordingly I mean that I know that my vote Is almost a vanity vote because of how much time we have to begin a new wagon and get it done, but I lose nothing trying. I have a bad read that at least one of TW/Wisp/Papyrus is scum due to their stances on SS/Shining

I feel like in a position with two solid wagons, scum are likely to try to push one side no matter the alignments of the wagoned players (provided they're not S/S) while staying behind and letting the counterwagon take the heat

And I was instalynched in a game, because of the guilty. There were no second thoughts, no weird defenses made. So why are people defending SS and second-guessing the guilty on them when they didn't do it for me when I was guiltied? This reeks of favoritism and hypocritical behavior.
