I wouldn't get off a lynch that I was pushing for the chance of a scum person taking my spot. That's ridiculous. If you think a person in the wagon is scum, then they should be the wagon. Terrible planIn post 24, Infinity 324 wrote:{quibixes, MoI}

Where did I assume I could not possibly get called? I said I didn't think it would.
Fa, that's 11 hands. 1 call so far. I was hoping people wouldn't be willing to risk all their money right away.
How is my all in scummy? Unless the mm is my partner. Otherwise it could just be someone who tried to bluff and got called. You guys obviously know nothing about poker. People bluff. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. I think it's obvious you guys know nothing about poker to think that there would obviously be a call on all in first hand. You're trying to make it scummy when it isn't.
The only thing that makes sense would be if I really am dumping money into scum. In that case its me and mm and good game. You're wrong though cause you can't understand that someone might actually just failed at the bluff.
Go scum hunt. Like genuine proof not speculation cause the only thing that will happen here is mm will win the hand. Mm will get lynched because he must be the partner. Hopefully he Flips scum. But even if he Flips town we'll all hear "well lanes partner probably doesn't call cause someone else did"
You're going down the wrong road. Stop it-

@infinity, I don't like mm. Here he says town wouldn't give away their monies random like that. I'm lead to believe he thinks scum would give away their money at random... And yet scum would LOVE to get those abilities. We've already established its hugely beneficial for scum to gain money. And everyone seems to think I'm in a ploy to give my money to mm.In post 61, The MM wrote:

Given the abilities in play, Scum would LOVE to get these 1250$ abilities. Especially a Vengeful since they get to one-shot a Townie for free, meaning scum don't really lose momentum from it.MagnaofIllusion wrote:
I find it suspect that you just assumed an immediate All-In would not possibly get called. Especially given you told Pers "I'm not going to win". I'm not sure I understand the question. I didn't want to consolidate money into anyone's hands but my own. I didn't expect anyone to call. I want money to get the benefits of getting money. So why am I scummy again?
I could certainly see a pre-game scenario where it was decided to try to consolidate money on one scum via an All-in and scum counterclaim.
TL;DR Version: Lane, you just made the scummiest move so far, and not just because it's the only big one.
But mm seems to think I'm scum because town wouldn't give money away like that.
@mm, why would scum give money away like that? Especially when they can benefit hugely from getting perks?-

You could put a time on it. If they don't post in 6 hours then just skip them. Not the end of the world. But then I guess it defeats the purpose of you could just get skipped and call or fold later.
The mm, who said you were playing badly? I must've missed that. And why is everyone single one of your reads null?
I've got rc and Persivul town, probably biased cause I want Persivul to be town.
The mm I started to feel better about until I realized all of the reads in his readslist turned out to be null, and him defending his bad play that I'm sure nobody has brought up or thought yet.
Who is scum just following Persivul's idea? I'll find you. Unless it's just mm and only mm
Pedit: You mean I could get banned for collusion? Good. It should be reported then for sure! Best way to settle this. And I keep counting 11 people in the list. Am I fucking stupid? Cause 2 people have said 13 lol-

^good question. Excellent question.
And yeah mm isn't the one following Persivul I guess. Since his idea is im dumping my chips to the mm.
@the mm. How long do you wait to go full gung-ho with your reads? Why are you concerned about how we will act of you go full gung-ho with your reads?
This could be a case of tunneling on my part, but I really don't like the mm. Unless everything they say is just fitting my preconceived notion. Will consider that
There was too much stuff in rvs that was weird to even comment on infinities read list. Two self votes. Moi changing rvs to bandwagon. Infinity having self at bottom. Wasn't going to get to decipher anything from any of that.-

Time for little at this moment.
@moi. My foot is in my mouth. I didn't even think about every single card being out including the 3 jokers. Poker generally doesn't have all the cards out. And I wasnt thinking about the wild cards whatsoever. Realizing that... The all in was incredibly stupid. I'm the stupid one. Not the people thinking there was a call. I was thinking that maybe someone has a pair, and might not call with it. But the wilds like you said guarantee at least 3 pairs at the very lowest. And I'm the dumbass... I'll admit that here-

Yes, but it feels like you're just trying to come up with reasons for why you didn't wait for my partner to call if that's what you were really thinking when you called me. You wanted to put a stop to it, and you thought 1000 would be enough for the most expensive abilities. Where did you come up with 1000 being the most expensive abilities? Did you never actually look at the abilities in the first place? Because if not, I'm having trouble figuring out why you'd think 1000 was for the most expensive ones. And if you had looked at them, I'm having trouble figuring out why you'd think 1000 was the most expensive ones?In post 130, The MM wrote:I just made the mistake of thinking the most expensive abilities were prized at 1000 (instead of 1250) and thus I'd only need to eat your monies to get the best abilities in the game. Does that answer your question?
Either you didn't look at them, and in that case you would have no idea or reason to believe abilities are different prices, so that's not the case.
Or you did look at them, and would then see the prices. And see they are different prices for different abilities. Which must be the case. So how do you come up with 1000 being the most expensive abilities?
Are you just making up excuses now?-

And so theres now three reasons the mm didn't wait to call. He thought it was a scum gambit, so wanted to put an end to that. With a straight, if that's true, he'd wait for the other scum. He just would.
Then he came up with he just thought he needed 1000 for the highest priced abilities... Where did that number even come from?!
Then he added that he was saving other Townies from throwing their money away. He has a straight. Honestly why would he care about other Townies throwing their money to him if he knows he town? Why would he care of he was scum? He wouldn't either way. This is a contrived excuse.-

"While I'll probably be a relatively rare sight, let me still introduce myself as far as my mafia tastes go. I have a tendency for volatile setup ideas despite still looking for the play-to-win attitude I've rarely seen. I also prefer my days and nights fast, and my communication all cool and nice (even though I'm far from being the nicest person on Earth). I'm also prone to bouts of rage rage when faced with what I deem to be idiotic play. Still, I'm a quite bad player seeking personal improvement as well as gameplay improvement.
Oh, if anyone asks, wgeurts (aka MagnificentLad) shoved me here."
The mm's introduction. It doesn't seem like he's a newbie at all. Just new here. He even has preferences for what games he likes and self metas as a little ragey.
I'm not a fan of non noobies letting people think that are.
In his first game here he had no problem scum reading people and voting all around. Here, he's got everyone at null with some leans.
Its not about reading the rules. It's not crazy to not think about wilds. It is crazy to come up with arbitrary prices for abilities out of thin air. You'll notice I also didn't make it a big deal when 2 people thought there was 13 people. That's not a crazy assumption be cause 13 is a pretty regular number in a mini. No wilds in poker is pretty regular. Poker in mafia and buying abilities is not regular, so making assumptions on the prices wouldn't happen. You made that up.You based your reasoning off of setups that you run. And yet you let people assume you're a noobie if it benefits you.-

Wait, is that a fourth reason? You didn't want to be lynch bait??!! You called early because you thought you'd have enough for the highest priced ability, but you also called early because you didn't want TOO much money and become lynch bait?!
Holy shit how many more reasons are you going to come up with?-

I knew there were no draws and that was part of the reason for hoping people wouldn't call. I wasnt thinking about wilds at the time however, because I've rarely ever played poker with wilds, even though when you mentioned it I remembered reading about it.
If he was simply mistaken on the prices, ok. But how does he come up with 1000? He kept adding his reasons and making them up? I don't believe he ever thought they were 1000 in the first place. It doesn't make sense to come up with an arbitrary number! It just doesn't. That's why I think all of his reasons are just making shit up.
And yes. It was dumb as Fuck. I agree lol-

15 games played and 3 games hosted. And a read through your first game, tells me you really shouldn't be hiding behind a noobie tag. But it's a pretty convenient way out that people suggest you're a newbie and you do nothing to explain even that you've played 14 games and hosted 3 elsewhere, regardless of the quality of those games-

How is it so hard to wrap your heads around me not thinking of the jokers? I've played exactly zero poker games in my life with jokers wild. Zero five card draw hands where you don't get to draw. How is it this hard to believe?
Jokers wild isn't normal. Bluffing is pretty normal.
And fa_q2 why would you vote me over the mm? That makes no sense-

If I was scum and had day talk... And I planned a scum money dump, how do you think that would actually go? What would be the actual plan?
First of all I wouldn't do the plan if we didn't have better than a pair. And I would've been aware of jokers so a pair doesn't mean much. You can figure this out by saying I have a bad, meh, good, very good, probably unbeatable hand.
2 options to start. Either the one with the good hand goes all in, and the shit hand calls. Or the bad hand goes all in and the good hand calls.
To me, it makes sense for the good hand to go all in first. Then if town calls and there's a chance they have a better hand, the bad hand can save its money. That obviously didn't happen.
So now if the bad hand goes all in, and even if a town calls, the good hand would still go all in, because it would've been decided its a very good hand that probably wouldn't get beat.
Considering there was only one call, the only option here is me and mm.
That's no way we would do that plan unless we were very confident we wouldn't be throwing money away. Cause that'd be dumber than town going all in on a bluff.
So faq2, why aren't you voting the mm?-
