You’re the one that’s misrepping me when you constantly call my complicated read on TGP as a defense.
Defense is me arguing for TGP being town. What i am doing is calling Pine scum and TGP also likely scum, and they can both co-exist as a scum team but also not and my biggest scumread is on Pine. But considering all the possible eliminations available TGP is sufficiently low on the ladder for me to consider them an acceptable elimination even if i don’t overtly support it. However you will notice that i don’t overly condone it either.

Jailkeeper in the hands of Town is correctly used as a defensive role, but if we can elim scum today, it can shift sharply into a pseudo-investigative role. I will change posture from protecting Townies to roleblocking scum suspects, which should produce effective investigative results.

My team and I have been working on this, and we believe we nearly have a mathematical solution.

i am starting to think Norwegian is a Scum JOAT based on them seemingly thinking that scum had to have a JOAT and pushed me for it earlier. I personally have been gut reading Norwegian as town since end of Day 2, but i do think Norwegian/Nancy look the worst on VCA, and some of the posts theyve made. However, I can see them both doing those posts as town.

JOAT's a fluff role, it looks like a lot of power, but it's really limited because we're just 1-shots of everything, and then using what on certain nights.

1. There have been exactly 0 other roles in this and the previous game that are not limited by number of shots. An ungated jailkeeper claim does not match the design ethos for the setup.

2. His claim says "Aside from FL's 1-shot doc, I am the only protective role in this game." Pine is trying to assign additional value to his claim. Note that FL is A. claiming exactly the same role as someone else, and B. Not necessarily telling the truth.
But if Pine is assuming he is telling the truth there, which is inherently strange, this is definitely phrasing to enhance self-importance and disregard that there has already been a significant degree of town protective when scum only has a 1-shot strongman

3. This is absolutely not a conftown claim; rather it is one that MUST claim last for scum to have any chance of faking results without being called out by PRs. Pine knows goddamn well that an unconfirmed and unconfirmable jailkeeper claim is as far from being confirmed town as anything else he could claim.
He hasn't spoken at all about his N1 jailkeep which is the only thing that would actually matter for when his claim occurred if he was town. Insisting on claiming last can only be to ensure he is not himself caught in a lie.

Why TSQ is town? Not scummy or towny, but what makes him town in this game?

I literally explained that I want keep Pine and FL around for their claims, even if they scum, they have to pretend and they are protective and can't kill their targets of protection, that's the whole point of my plan that I explained several times already. We still have 1 miselim left, so I'd rather use it to reduce pool of nulish slots while I still can rather than take hail Marry gamble and wake up to ExLo with no real idea who is scum like it was for all 3 day phases so far

A short timeline of what happened in the TGP hood:

-he invites me, and opens with a post that basicly says that he hooded me because i'm not a lurker and sorteable. He also confirmed his action.
-i spammed quite a bit of my thoughts, some of which were aimed at baiting a reaction and weren't entirely truthfull. I overstated my scumread on you (but still, i had every intention of poking you today)
-i made a remark of how terrible of an idea it would be to push you today in the current gamestate and that it would result in a total shitfest (who could've imagined that lol)

-TGP basicly agreed with my take on you, that pushing you today is a bad idea but that he would also be interested in poking you to get some AI content out of you. He suggested a D3 join-push on you.

In short, when the environment seemed to turn 'ripe' for a push on you, he came into the main thread and just joined the push on you. No discussing it in our hood, no agreements, no shared thoughts.

That felt incredibly opportunistic to me.

I like this post a LOT for Town!Ico, which makes me a lot more comfortable with my weak TR on him at day start. I could also sign on to a TGP elim, this is a good case.

Norwegian/TGP/Status could be a team, but Status would have probably shaded me more if that were the case, but he seemed to try to brush Norwegian off the TvT, maybe because he thinks that they would lose, but that's an option I'm looking into right now

The one point in FL’s favour is that he claims to be willing to protect one of the two confitowns where as Pine says he won’t, so that bothers me.

I don’t think there’s any good reasoning to not do that, because we’re obviously never eliming either Akarin or Misty.

Pine's is an extremely obvious fakeclaim in this setup

1. There have been exactly 0 other roles in this and the previous game that are not limited by number of shots. An ungated jailkeeper claim does not match the design ethos for the setup.

2. His claim says "Aside from FL's 1-shot doc, I am the only protective role in this game." Pine is trying to assign additional value to his claim. Note that FL is A. claiming exactly the same role as someone else, and B. Not necessarily telling the truth.
But if Pine is assuming he is telling the truth there, which is inherently strange, this is definitely phrasing to enhance self-importance and disregard that there has already been a significant degree of town protective when scum only has a 1-shot strongman

3. This is absolutely not a conftown claim; rather it is one that MUST claim last for scum to have any chance of faking results without being called out by PRs. Pine knows goddamn well that an unconfirmed and unconfirmable jailkeeper claim is as far from being confirmed town as anything else he could claim.
He hasn't spoken at all about his N1 jailkeep which is the only thing that would actually matter for when his claim occurred if he was town. Insisting on claiming last can only be to ensure he is not himself caught in a lie.

My team's been helping out with reads while I flounder a bit catching up. Dannflor's money is on a Norwegian/Akarin/TGP scumteam, though I'm not sold on TGP. Jingle largely agrees though we talked about tracking the night kill, trying to figure out who would have shot BB. He's not an obvious shot, and that can really say a lot. It was a process of elimination, but we thought the person with the best combination of experience, perceived threat level, and teammates might be Mistyx.

I'm feeling pretty good about those reads. {Norwegian, Akarin} and one of {TGP, Mistyx} seems most likely.

I'll support that with Townreads -

Flavor Leaf and Nancy continue to be rock solid TRs for me.

I'm actually with FL in that I don't think the ungated thing is as much of a smoking gun as it's being made out to be.

I'm also getting closer to just voting Pine for everyone's sanity, at some point keeping enthusiasm is worth more than giving a bit more info for if Misty dies and needs to think about a vig shot.

For what it’s worth, Asta from Black Clover’s ability is in a world where Magic is everything, he is the only one without it, but because of it he’s able to wield Anti-Magic Sword which nullifies all Magic it interacts with, so the jailkeeper makes sense flavor wise
