I legitimately do not understand how Druids are ever supposed to win.
I can't remember the last time I lost to one
And I just threw together a junk custom deck to start leveling / getting basic cards (since I've hit level 10 on all the other classes but Druid/Warlock), and I don't get it. There's so much inherent card disadvantage among Druid cards. It feels awful.

So, on DEing cards you don't have 3 (or more) of....
I hear some people say to never do it, because collection and potential balance changes. Then I look at cards like Angry Chicken and realize they'll never be more than a dumb novelty thing that I don't care for.
Where would people draw the line as far as what to DE and what to keep? Given that I'm new and don't have any idea of the nerf/buff history of cards, or how frequently balance changes are made, I've not DE'd anything yet, but there are a few things I'd like to turn into something useful.

Answer: God draws for dayyyys. Started off 0-2, wound up with 7 wins.

I guess the trade-off to doing draw on death is that you need to actually build the board state. Sweepers/removal really prevent you from doing that. It's not like it's easy to get to 7-8 mana with three dudes on the table who can trade, except against specific decks.
In post 1021, Glork wrote:How the fuck do I go an entire Mage draft without seeing a single Flamestrike, Fireball, Frost Elemental, or Frostbolt?
This is me, too. Last mage draft I got none of the above AND no polymorphs AND no mage epics.
Oh yeah, I didnt get a polymorph either, or any epics/legendaries. I went 1-3
Okay, idk if RNG hates me or if they fucked with the system, but I've got another mage deck with NONE of these things. 0-2 with a pile of bad creatures and a couple of sub-par removal spells.

Yeah the next time you get the "Total Domination" quest (7 wins in any mode -- includes bot games), go do the expert bots. Super efficent way to get gold.

Eh. 4 mana to maybe replace himself on the next turn and hopefully get ahead a turn or two after that? You're honestly better off paying the 2 mana and 2 life for the guaranteed thing. It's not as though Handlock is hurting for card advantage.

The few times I've played Rogue in arena, I've found that a lone copy of Sprint seems to work wonders when you get to that "doomed" state. But yeah, I generally avoid Rogue like the plague.

And they said I couldn't draft something synergistic.
I mean, anyone can get lucky and happen to get all of the pieces to something synergistic. But overvaluing cards because you might get other cards that combo with them? No. Please don't.

That feeling when you start 7-0 in arena... And then run into three god draws and bow out just like that.
Incidentally, I learned something. I used to build my decks with way too steep a curve. I've started loading up on more efficient 2-3 drops, which has served me well.

Hearthstone is really frustrating for me right now. I feel like I haven't gotten a halfway decent card pool in draft in a week, and I keep running into fully built zoolock and stupid shit in play mode. Thinking of just quitting.

Been having a lot of fun with the following budget Shaman deck (because there are still a bunch of rares/epics that I don't own, much less most legendaries).

The fact that there's no way to obtain Classic cards without buying packs or crafting cards is making me want to quit.
I started what, six months ago, maybe? And now that GvG is the only reward set available from Arena, I basically have no way of obtaining Legendaries that I need, and constructed is largely pointless with consistently underpowered decks.

Yeah I saw the list. Problem is I have no hobgoblins, only one Ancient of Lore, and I don't think I have a Force of Nature either. So right now I'm going to do more of a traditional ramp Druid.

Been having fun mostly with Ramp Druid, Shaman, and Hunter lately, even though I don't quite have the cards for full druid. It's still quite good against the current glut of aggro decks I've seen.
EDIT: Can someone post/link a list for Oil Druid? I haven't really seen much of it. That said, I've only played enough ranked to go from 20-15 so maybe I'm just not there yet. But I want to be prepared knowing what I'll be facing sooner or later.

I just feel like nobody actually plays TBK in anything right now. Obviously it's good against Sludge Belcher and Druid, but I feel like I don't see much Druid and I've had an ok time dealing with Belchers in general.
Harrison seems more necessary to deal with some of those crazy aggro decks.
AUGH I DON'T KNOW WHY CAN'T I JUST HAVE BOTH MAYBE I SHOULD JUST DE A BUNCH OF STUFF TO DO THAT

Eh, the mage challenge was kinda dumb, IMHO. My opponent played Millhouse on Turn 3. I turned them into dudes for free. One was a summoning d
Portal. I dropped the other like 6 guys including a Gahz'rilla my own Millhouse.
No skill involved. AI just beats itself because durr.
