RULES

:

Flavor's flavor. Nothing more.
Standard site rules are in place; you should REALLY know these by now.
Deadlines:
Days are three weeks (or until lynch); nights are three days (except weekend-nights which're four).
This game uses plurality lynches.
Ties are broken by the person most-recently the highest above the other (e.g. 5/4 becoming 4/4, or 4/3 becoming 4/4). No-lynching is possible, with the same threshold as a player. However, unless otherwise specified, failure to submit an action is a no-action. (I do accept them in advance and in PTs.)
Voting
must be bolded or in vote tags to be counted. If I recognize who it's for, it counts.
I'll send out
Prods
after three days, but will poke players on request before then. They must post within two days and cannot let themselves receive five prods, or they'll be replaced.
Have fun, but
don't be a jerkass
. (Really, in THIS game, you need to have the mindset of this being a casual game for fun, to be taken lightly.) Seriously, I'll force-replace you if you prove toxic to the game's atmosphere.

1. I do allow contentless "

  will be treated just as seriously as (if not moreso than) the actual crime. Seriously. Just don't. The game's meant to be FUN, and if you're seeking loopholes, you're not in the right game. (For instance, I take

Hey, guys. Sorry for the absence.
My browser is on the fritz. It's being a pain in the ass for me right now, and has been all day, to the point where it got so debilitating that I couldn't use it at all. I don't know what happened, but the level of frustration I've had trying futilely to fix it is rather high, ultimately boiling over to me giving up--I'm typing this on my desktop, while on my laptop I'm slowly beginning the transition to a browser that ISN'T taking five minutes to load

In a game filled with imbalance, it should be no surprise that the wagons have shifted so much throughout the day.
Activity has similarly gone off the charts only to crash and burn. A roller coaster of ups and downs, frenzies of posting and then long periods of virtual silence.

EddieFenix was the first to take the blunt of the blow. His claim of being tied to Hitler in some mysterious way certainly didn't help his credibility, either. However, ultimately, the winds of the day shifted away. Next up was Klingoncelt, who escaped the noose by offering fruit. A healthy town needs a balanced diet, after all, so surely Klingon would have their best interests in mind!

So attention shifted to Toon Fighter. Then, it came to shos, and bounced back and forth between the two as appropriate for the theme. "shos is scum!"
"No, Toon is!"
"Both are!"
"Neither are!"

All the while, deadline came closer...and closer...and when it came, Toon claimed to be a jailkeeper. Produced a ring of keys and all. He seemed to have everything ready for any interrogation he could be placed under. Everything seemed legit. All the pieces were there. It was a good disguise.

good a disguise, some thought, so they kept the pressure on, dug a little deeper, looking for the smallest of inconsistencies, and while on every level his story seemed to check out, something still seemed off about him.

I'm extremely grumpy.
My computer just had the weirdest of glitches. It's as if explorer is dead: the desktop icons disappeared, the startbar is gone, the whole works, yet task manager SWEARS that explorer is still running. (Twice, even.) I try killing the explorers, but while it lets me kill them, task manager doesn't follow through and ACTUALLY kill them. And when I select the new task to run of 'explorer', similar empty results.

I also had no internet save for ten minutes this morning, meaning I haven't been able to do mod duties and whatnot and likely won't until tonight assuming my computer is fixed. (It might be longer if I can't!)

Everything hates me right now.

So on a follow-through day in a NORMAL town, people might expect things to take longer--maybe double, perhaps even quadruple that amount of time? After all, given three weeks, surely one or two weeks wouldn't be too unreasonable.

The wagons keep on battling it out, all three of them, for the dominance. It's so persistent that checking in once a day isn't nearly enough. You need to have no sleep and no life to stay on top of things, and it's so active that one might say that the only way to be creative and witty with the flavor would be to abandon all hope of being anything other than a slave to this process.

...Well, we know which one *I* chose. So sue me (except Titus, because she would actually know how to WIN), I'm lazy.
Let's just say that you continue the process, and don't keep too close a track of the votes.

Sorry I've been gone for the last few days. If you read my blog (which, let's face it, nobody does), you'd know that I've been going through some seriously harsh times as of late, particularly over the weekend.

In this case, basically two all-nighters in a row doing nothing but studying to so much as keep my job. I joke all the time that I'm paid to sit around and do nothing, but truth is, getting a recert is absolutely BRUTAL, taxing both physically *and* mentally.

Good news is, won't have to do it for another two years; I passed. Bad news is, I've been left in a position where I practically siteflaked, albeit over a short timeframe, and it's going to take me quite a while to do "damage control", so to speak, on what my absence caused.

Soyeah, that's why I haven't been around for the last four days or so.

I'd say I'm giving this game my attention now, but that's a lie. It's already past midnight, and I've got SO much work to get done on here.

I'll do what I can, but...well, this is what it is. Comes with the territory. :/

I'm on page 249, so I'll see what the gamestate here is as soon as possible.
